BEAR VIEWING PLATFORM
The sister town to Stewart, BC is Hyder, AK, there is a creek/river where the bears come and fish for salmon, the salmon come up to spawn/lay there eggs as they are dying they are easy prey for many kinds of beautiful wildlife, including wolves, eagles, seagulls, black bears and grizzly bears. So bring your passports and get prepared for an amazing time!
FUN FOR KIDS!
Attached to the campground there is a great park where kids can have a bunch of fun, sliding down the slides, swinging on the swings and playing on the monkey bars!
BOARDWALK
Less then a couple blocks away from the campground is a boardwalk that goes out into the tide of the ocean! great for early morning walks, late night walks and everytime in between.

Stewart and its surrounding area is filled with beautiful and whimsical nature trails, with some even attached to the campground, they also have a variety of diffulculty levels for all ages!
If you drive through Hyder, AK and up a mountain road about 25 miles there is one of natures many wonders, the salmon glacier! if you are in the area you should definitely see it, it will take your breath away!
